My relationship with acting can be described as nothing less than a journey. It began when I was a child, with a love of playing make-believe with my friends. To step into the life of someone so completely different from me was a sort of escape I couldn’t find anywhere else. I loved being able to bring characters, both of my own creation and also from my favorite books and movies, to life. It was exhilarating. It was fun.
Around the age of seven was when I learned that I could do this for an audience. I started participating in local theater, and then eventually in my high school’s theater program. I also started to explore the world of on-camera acting. I took many classes up in the Chicagoland area before finally attending Columbia College Chicago. While in college, I took every opportunity I could find to get myself in front of a camera, and I also discovered a new form of acting to love: Voiceover.
Now that I’ve graduated, I’m ready to take the next step with my acting. I want to keep learning and growing as I become a professional in this field that I love. And, more than anything, I want to bring some amazing characters to life for you. The audience.
